Give your middle school aged youth a fun opportunity this summer to live out his/her faith. Sharing, caring and growing -- are all a part of our “Say what you Walk, Live what you Talk” Summer program. Open to all youth entering grades 6-8 in the fall of 2018. We meet tuesdays as scheduled below from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Each day – your child will be engaged in a service opportunity in the Twin Cities, a Bible study and an opportunity to build relationships as we play in the afternoon at water parks, state parks, and other fun venues. See Schedule below.
Open to all youth in community.
SST Youth will earn 1 Learning and 2 Community Service Confirmation Benchmarks upon completion.
Schedule: The following schedule is subject to change based on weather and other circumstances that we don’t foresee now. For example if there is a thunderstorm, we wouldn’t head to a waterpark. Changes would be communicated to parents by text and emails.
WEEK ONE – June 12 2nd Harvest Food Bank/Willow River State Park
WEEK TWO – June 26 Feed My Starving Children/Cascade Bay Water Park
WEEK THREE – July 10 Union Gospel MIssion/Como Regional Swimming Pool
WEEK FOUR – July 17 Habitat for Humanity/PINZ, Oakdale MN
WEEK FIVE – July 24 Clean SST/Wild Mountain-Taylor Falls
Drop off time: 8 a.m. Pick up time: 6 p.m.
Registration fee: $100 (includes all activity fees and T-Shirt)
Bring your own bag lunch and Bible.
Please complete the code of conduct. Participation waivers for the places we will visit and serve, will be sent after registration.
